We have just published a new 8-page company brochure. This highlights both the range of analytical instrumentation and sample preparation equipment that we have to offer together with our extensive service and technical support capabilities. Spectrophotometers, TOC, ICP, mercury analysis, microwave and pressure digestion, portable GC, combustion analysers and consumables are all covered. You can download a copy to keep on file for easy reference, but make sure you also keep our website bookmarked in your web browser!Download
We are delighted to now be able to offer the Micro GC Fusion range of portable 2-channel and 4-channel gas analysers and the HAPSITE® ER portable GC/MS system from Inficon. Micro GC Fusion gas analysers can be used in laboratories, pilot plants and in the field by non-specialists. They provide versatile analysis for fixed gases, C1 and C12 olefins, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), light oxygenates and sulphur compounds and are characterised by fast analysis times and excellent sensitivity. The easy-to use web browser-based software can be accessed from any smartphone, tablet or laptop.
HAPSITE® ER can deliver qualitative and quantitative lab-quality results in the field, in less than 10 minutes. It can identify and quantify VOCs, toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), toxic industrial materials (TIMs), chemical warfare agents (CWAs), and select semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in parts per million - parts per trillion concentrations.
The capabilities of the versatile Hydra IIC mercury analyser have been further extended to include the determination of mercury in petrochemical samples.
A new change to the Hydra IIC's Envoy control software now allows the analyzer to be used in volatile hydrocarbon combustion mode (CAAVHC). This mode will allow for direct determination of Hg in light to heavy petroleum distillates, various refined oils, raw petroleum products and other highly volatile samples. This new software package allows for method ASTM 7623 and a UOP 938 equivalent.
You can find out more about the use of the Hydra IIC in this mode by downloading an application note entitled: 'Coleman® Camp Fuel'.
