The capabilities of the versatile Hydra IIC mercury analyser have been further extended to include the determination of mercury in petrochemical samples.
A new change to the Hydra IIC's Envoy control software now allows the analyzer to be used in volatile hydrocarbon combustion mode (CAAVHC). This mode will allow for direct determination of Hg in light to heavy petroleum distillates, various refined oils, raw petroleum products and other highly volatile samples. This new software package allows for method ASTM 7623 and a UOP 938 equivalent.
