The Model U-5100 delivers a compact, lightweight package with remarkable
power savings and a long life Xenon flash lamp. The long life Xenon
flash lamp avoids the frequent replacements of the Deuterium and
Tungsten lamps over a period of more than 7 years (typical lamp
life time). However the ratio beam technology guarantees a stable
signal and precise measurements. Hitachi reduced the footprint and
the weight of the model in a very user-friendly and space saving
design. The unit offers a big LED for simple readings and programming.
The U-5100 incorporates every aspect of the technological features
of Hitachi's reliability-proven spectrophotometers while achieving
