Nanodroplet Biospectrophotometry

Lambda Advanced Technology offers new systems for spectrophotometric analysis of 1 µL biological samples: Combining a fibre-optic coupled micro cell with high performance UV/Vis spectrophotometers. From low cost reference beam systems to double beam research quality instruments, it provides highly accurate analysis of nanodroplets as small as 70 nL with remarkable reproducibility. All instruments feature nucleic acid application programs, yet retain full spectrophotometer capabilities and can also be used with standard samples.

 

The fibre-optic microlitre TrayCell is designed for the following applications:


  • nucleic acid analysis
  • determination of the incorporation frequency of fluorescent dye labels (FOI)
  • protein analysis (A280, BCA, Bradford, Lowry etc.)
  • all UV/Vis analysis utilizing the wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm
