  Z-2000 Tandem Flame/Furnace AA Spectrophotometer

The new Z-2000 combines outstanding analytical capabilities with ease of use. Hitachi's well-proven DC polarised Zeeman background correction method now features two detectors for simultaneous measurement of the sample and reference beams. This leads to reduced noise and improved sensitivity. A detection limit of 0.1 ppb As is possiible using a conventional hollow cathode lamp. A built-in autosampler on the graphite side can accommodate 60 x 1.5 mL samples and features variable injection speed and hot injection.

  Z-2300 Flame Only AA Spectrophotometer

With Zeeman optics eliminating background contributions due to flame fluctuations, the Z-2300 offers excellent sensitivity and can accurately and reproducibly measure concentrations of Pb of the order of 0.1 mg/mL. Ease of use is enhanced by the automatic setting of combustion conditions and the "easy start" facility which automatically determines the time to begin measurement after sample injection.

  Z-2700 Furnace Only AA Spectrophotometer

With an even smaller footprint and a built-in autosampler, the Z-2700 provides an extremely compact analysis system. Double beam optics and Zeeman background correction ensure the highest sensitivity without the need for high intensity EDL lamps.

For elemental analysis in the parts per million (ppm) to parts per billion range.
Key to the performance is the polarised Zeeman background correction which is a true double beam correction method.
This not only improves sensitivity with its highly effective background correction, but also gives an extremely stable baseline for accurate, reproducible results.
Flame only, furnace only and a true tandem instrument can be found in the product range.
Many factors affect the performance of an atomic absorption spectrophotometer and we have published an application note to highlight the things to look for. And of course, all Hitachi customers benefit from the technical back-up service we offer.
